Vanity brackets provide a stable mounting surface for counters up to 24 in (609.6 mm) deep and can support up to 450 lb (204 kg) per pair. Brackets are supplied with wooden strips on the front face to provide convenient mounting or removal of laminated or solid surface panels.

- knee clearance: 27 in (685.8 mm) high, 11 to 25 in (279.4 to 635 mm) deep, and 30 in (762 mm) wide
- floor space: must be kept clear
- pipes: must be insulated under the sink
- sink access: the sink must have a 30 x 48 in (762 x 1219.2 mm) access
- door swing: cannot swing into the sink access area
